Hand Sawing

Window Excavation Requirements
We need a particular amount of space excavated away from the window to perform our cuts for egress window openings securely and effectively. We recommend a minimum of 40" space be excavated away from the wall, regardless of the size of the window. We also need to excavate a minimum of 10" below the bottom line (where the window will finally sit). Finally, we need 10" excavated on each side for the vertical cuts that will be done on the right and left sides of the new window opening. We can assure you that the finished result meets your expectations if these spacing recommendations are met.

Floor Sawing
